I love to play with color! These fresh new color combinations for spring really inspire me when I think about creating new outfits. Mint and tangerine are the hot colors right now this season, and mixed with other brights, they really pop!
Can’t wait to get my hands on some new colored pieces in teal, tangerine, and fuchsia! Which colors combinations are you loving? Which have you tried?
Abercrombie & Fitch oxford, Sweater from Marshalls, Charming Charlie watch, Jeggings from NY&Co, Zigi Soho boots
So today was definitely one of those days when I thought to myself, “what’s the best way to get away with feeling like I have sweatpants on at work?” And then this outfit was born. I’m always reaching for the leggings and over sized sweaters on days like these.
It has been in the 30s lately and not too sunny (boo!) so why not cozy up and make the best of it? All I have to say is TGIF! I’m thinking I’m going to start reading the Hunger Games (finally) and relax…well as much relaxing as I can do with a project due soon. Hmmpphh. What are you guys planning to do this weekend?

Vintage belt, Dress c/o Marshalls, Guess pumps, Nine West handbag, DIY necklace
An early spring means an early showing of pastels in our wardrobes! I just found this belt while I was thrifting the other day, and I fell in love with all of the pretty light colors!
Purple, pink, and mint just remind me of spring and Easter. Although we still have a little bit until it’s time to celebrate Easter, I thought I’d put together an outfit that was appropriate for church, dinner, and visiting family.
Pleats are everywhere this season, and I’m loving it! Somthing about them just screams preppy and classy. I love the way the back of this particular dress drapes and shows some skin, but isn’t in any way sleazy. Naturally, I had to add a hairbow due to my obsession with them lately. Naturally.
This necklace is my second attempt at a DIY. I’ve had the silver necklace for years now, and was considering selling it until I got a little too happy with the nail polish. Blame it on my mint obsession right now. Either way, I’m definitely trying to do more!
What pastels are you wearing this spring?
