Chocolate Browns with Some Punch!

This one is one of my favorites- OPI Espresso from the Holiday Glow collection. A perfect way to add some fun to a perfectly toned-down fall color!

Mix it Up!

Add 3 coats of Milani Jewel FX in gold or silver (at any CVS store) on your ring finger to make a statement! Finish with other fingers in blush and chocolate tones to a a real fall feel without feeling boring.

Not-So-Black!

Try Essie’s Bobbing for Baubles to take you from fall to the winter season. Not as harsh as black, yet more chic than gray- this hot-off-the-runway shade will take you from the office to after hours cocktails!

Royal Purples

Try this fall-appropriate shade from Essie in No More Film. A mix between purple and navy, this matte polish will blend right in making it wonderful for the office as well as weekend outfits.

Rose Gold!

While still hot in accessories, this hue is beautiful in a shimmery polish just in time for fall! Two of my favorites- OPI Rally Pretty Pink &  Rose Gold Sparkle from China Glaze.

Sky Blues

Get the blues with Nars Koliary polish this fall. This off-the-beaten track pastel is reminiscent of spring’s pretty polishes, but is light enough to work with fall’s gem tones.

Turquoise & Statement Maker

The lightly-frosted statement nail continues to make a splash this season. Update the trend by donning a fun turquoise color and painting over one nail with a clear shimmer like Essence Nail Art Twins Glitter Topper. (Green is Orly Green With Envy)

For ideas on how to wear wedge sneakers with celebrity inspiration check this out!
Wedge sneakers are adorable and all the celebs are sporting them lately. I’m personally loving the colorblocked and printed pairs!
Which are your  favorite? If I were to buy a pair, I would definitely choose a pair that went with everything. The really bright ones are fun, however they become insanely limiting when it comes to integrating them into your daily wardrobe. A neutral pair would keep things casual and take you from a night out with leatherette leggings to a relaxing Saturday lounging or running errands in your comfy tee and worn-in jeans.
Surprisingly, these little babies have had quite the staying power. Coming onto the scene almost a year ago; they seem to continue to creep up in magazine photos on celebs more often than not. Although the original Marc Jacobs and Isabel Marant versions are still the most coveted- since time has passed, the “cheapie” versions are now being offered to us “poorer folk” as they trickle down into more reasonable stores like Forever 21 and GoJane.com.
Wearing them is simple too– most celebs are wearing them with leather leggings, jeans, oversized sweaters and cardigans!

Geek Chic in Gingham & Leopard

Gap Really Skinny Pants, Thrifted gingham shirt, Target leopard flats, Necklace from NY&Co, Belt from A&F, Lipstick: Revlon Matte Really Red, Nails: OPI Kennebunk Port
Today I really felt like taking it easy dress-wise at work. This over sized gingham shirt I thrifted a month ago really fit the bill. Still wanting to stick to keep it interesting, I added some leopard flats! These particular ones I bought this past spring (and are still there) for $15!
Lately, the days have seemed to be getting drearier haven’t they? Red lipstick always does the trick to perk things up for me. What’s your go-to for a pick-me-up? This Revlon Really Red is universal for all skin tones and stays on like a gem. You really ought to try it!
