Nate and I are sad to see this vacation end but we’ve definitely had a blast! We have packed so much into so little of an amount of time it seems like we’ve been here for a month! I could definitely get used to this kind of lifestyle.
Today, we went to Haines City and Orlando to have a sushi lunch. It was absolutely delicious! We walked around the city for a bit then came back to our resort in Lake Buena Vista and swam. It was wonderful!
We just had a late dinner of ahi tuna steaks and salad and now we’re going to start packing up our things to leave in the morning. I know I’m not ready to go but hopefully I’ll be back soon! Yesterday, we visited with my cousin and her fiance to have dinner and go to a baseball game at the Detroit Tiger spring training stadium. So much fun.
I wore this Ann Taylor Loft neon colorblocked sundress today with my Guess wedge sandals. All I seem to want to wear down here is sundress after sundress! It’s just too hot for anything else! 🙂
Hope you all have a great weekend and I’ll see you when I get back to good ‘ole PA!

We’re having such a blast here on vacation! I never want to leave! Nate and I have been keeping busy traveling through Florida and today we got to our final stop in Orlando. For the past two days we’ve been driving from the north and ended up stopping in Columbia, South Carolina and then another stop in the Daytona Beach Shores to enjoy some much needed relaxation, Mai Tais and ocean waves.
Yesterday, we spent four hours walking along the beach and I wore my beach cover up tunic from Victoria’s Secret along with my new leopard/floral mixed print bikini and coral straw fedora. It felt awesome to just relax and stroll along the beach knowing that we had no specific plans. Last night we ate amazing wings at a random dive bar while watching hockey. Everyone down here is so nice and the weather is absolutely fantastic!
This morning, we woke up at 6 to watch the sunrise from the beach [last few photos] and it was one of those moments you know don’t happen very often. Although it was a little nippy in the morning, the view was priceless. So beautiful!
We continued our long day today in New Smyrna Beach to spend the day having lunch on the beach, laying out, and body surfing. It was so hot out and we definitely got some sun! We went to Titusville, Florida to have some world famous rock shrimp and then made the short journey to Orlando to stay at the Wyndham at Bonnet Creek Resort. I can see Disney while I’m writing this and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! This place is amazing!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend! 🙂

I’ve had this simple Celine t shirt for quite some time now but I have no idea why I haven’t styled it to wear on the blog. Hmphh. Well, now is the time! I bought this striped high waisted skirt from Old Navy last week for a mere $4.97 and it feels like the skirt equivalent to yoga pants. No kidding! It looks a bit like a zebra striped scuba suit, but I swear to you it’s comfortable and very versatile.
I tend to like to pair items with their opposites to give an unexpected factor such as I did here with this everyday tee and a skirt with fancy shmancy cap toe heels. (Is it just me or is my vocabulary slowly turning to be like my students?)
Okay, okay–so I had to grab a fun printed polka dot clutch to mix some prints. Shoot me. What can I say? It’s my M.O.! I just got back from a wonderful and much-needed best friend pedicure. With all the stress from finishing grad school, graduating, packing for the trip, work, no sleep, training, and planning a bridal shower I’m pooped! It was nice to get to spend time with my best friend. I feel like I haven’t hung out with her in forever. Unfortunately it was short-lived because I have so much yet to get done before Sunday morning.
Nate and I are leaving for our long-awaited Floridian vacation at 5am on Sunday morning. We are driving down to Columbia, SC then stopping in Daytona Beach, FL for Memorial Day. From there, we will be spending the rest of the week in Orlando relaxing! I can’t wait to show you some pictures! You know I can’t go a week without blogging 🙂
