Finding shorts is always a challenge for me. It seems like nowadays every pair is marketed toward size 0 teenage girls without butts. I’m not really into the whole “showing your butt cheeks” portion of the short short, so I’m always on the lookout for cute shorts that fit me in the waist, work for my curves, and are also long enough to remain tasteful but not matronly.
When I came across these global-printed Moroccan-inspired shorts I knew I found a winner. Too many times, I’ve said no to shorts because I just can’t seem to find a pair that fit me and in this heat–that’s a killer! The same day I found these shorts, I also found a crochet/lace hybrid pair that fit me the exact same way. Thanks to Marshalls, I finally found a place that allows me to say “yes” to shorts without the worry.
From button downs to tanks, I find myself wearing these shorts out to dinner or just to lounge around. They’re so comfortable and don’t pull–the Holy Grail of shorts for those who find themselves with junk in the trunk.

The contrast of pairing a casual graphic tee with a skirt that’s meant for going out makes such a statement to me. I’m loving the fun polka dot shimmer print in this bubble skirt and how the gray tones play off the basic gray in the tee.
Are you as into the graphic tees as I am lately? I love how versatile they are. I’ve seen them paired with everything from a sundress to printed pants. Love it!
This particular tee is amazing because the proceeds go to MS research. What a great cause! My grandma was affected by this disease for most of her life so I can definitely appreciate where they’re comin’ from.
Happy Hump Day! Hope you all have a great rest of your week, it’s almost Easter time!

If you have a “big butt and cannot lie” like me, then definitely check out JLo jeans. Recently, my co-workers shared their favorite Kohl’s collaboration with me and I decided to try them on for myself. What I found was the equivalent to what I’d imagine ‘pajama jeans’ to feel like without the cheesy look. These dark wash babies are stretchy without looking cheap. They maintain their shape and haven’t faded. I think I’m in love.
Anyway, to play on a casual weekend look, I added one of my Saturday go-to toppers–the colorful kimono. No shame in my game, you can see me sporting different versions of this thing every. single. weekend. Don’t judge.
Recently, Nate and I went to Cocoa Beach to relax and a friend of mine recommended we visit the famous Ron Jon Surf Shop. I have to say I was impressed! The amount of beachy boho-wear made me want to move in there and camp out for awhile. I was unaware that they had equally as cute home decorations. I tell ya, if I had a beach house–this is where I would get the icings to decorate it!
Super excited to announce a huge Marshalls giveaway this week (read: $500 shopping spree!) so stay tuned! Hope you all made it through Monday semi-unscathed 🙂
