Blogger Link-Up: Teacher Style

teacherstyle aboden68 aboden38 aboden153 aboden137   Not that I’m counting or anything {and I know you teacher friends feel me} but there’s only 6 school days left! I can’t believe it. Not to get all sentimental, but this year was very memorable in a lot of ways. I made some pretty amazing friends and learned a ton. I know it sounds cliche, but the kids taught me just as much as {hopefully} I taught them this year. I’m really going to miss them. Good news is, my parents come to visit this upcoming Sunday and then I’m going to New Orleans the following week! It’s going to be a busy summer, but I’m excited to travel home to see friends and family as well as to finally have some down time to work out, paint, swim, and read. It will be nice to slow down the pace for awhile. This week, I’ve been asked to team up with some pretty amazing teacher-blogger-lady friends to showcase some of our spring-to-summer teacher wear. I love getting inspired by other bloggers; everyone has such unique and covetable style!

1. We kindly ask that you follow the two hosts: Elle from Living in Color Style and Jacqueline from Stylin’ In St. Louis via Bloglovin or GFC, and the guest host, Missy of Pop of Style! (The first three links in the link-up.)

So, last weekend Kiara and I went on her $500 Marshalls shopping spree that she won on the contest from earlier this month! We had such a blast!  (p.s. isn’t she adorable?!)

Shopping with Kiara was easy–she’s an avid Marshalls lover as well and we had such an amazing time sharing our love of beauty products, rompers, and of course–pineapple print! I found out that she’s a blogger as well–check out her site: Kiara Michelle–and specializes in gorgeous video makeup tutorials.

We spent the day perusing every single isle in the Orlando Marshalls and I could’ve shopped with her all day! Our style is very similar and she definitely taught me a thing or two about hair and makeup. From 4 pairs of shoes to summer dresses, books, and candles she got every penny out of her Marshalls shopping spree and had a ton of fun doing it! Congrats, Kiara! 🙂

How to Wear a Graphic Tee

I just knew I had to post this! I’m IN SICK LOVE with graphic tees lately–especially the ones with cheeky phrases on them. As you can see here, I’ve sported one with everything from polka dots to leather, denim, leopard, and linen. There’s nothing more fun than pairing this unexpected piece with something chic and structured like a blazer, statement necklace, or skirt. I can’t get enough!

Is your love of graphic tees as great as mine? Which is your favorite look? How do you wear them? Let me know below!

Have an awesome Tuesday! 🙂
