Spring’s Best Short Haircuts for 2014

best short haircuts for 2014

Every so often while awkwardly growing out my hair, I daydream of beautiful short haircuts. This spring, it’s all about the color and choppy varying lengths. Here are what I consider to be the best short haircuts for 2014:

Angular bobs are still getting a lot of attention thanks to Victoria Beckham, but newbies to the short cut like Ashlee Simpson are definitely starting to take the main stage. I’m loving her platinum color and swoopy bangs!

I actually did get Kristin Cavallari’s cut a couple of years ago and I loved how easy it was to texturize and style. The varying blonde and brown colors give way to great dimension there for sure.

If I had any sort of guts whatsoever I would definitely dive into a pixie cut like the one in the top right! With texture like that, you don’t need a ton of color!

I would be happy to have any one of these cuts for a spring change, which do you like best? Would you ever consider a pixie cut? Have you done it in the past? Weigh in! 🙂

I actually have a hair appointment on Wednesday and am going to change it up. I feel like I’m having a mid life crisis with my hair! I’ve been growing out and tried to go darker but my hair is too thin and the brown just isn’t working!!!! I actually did Kristen’s hair cut a few years back as well…LOVED it. I also love the one to the left of her…I think I might have pinned that one on pinterest! I actually might try a little ombre like that and def shorter! Great post 😉

Every so often I think about cutting my hair shorter, but it takes me a REALLY long time to grow my hair out, so I always change my mind. Although the one on the bottom row in the middle looks so cute (but my hair is SO much curlier!). I don’t think I could ever do a pixie- some people like Michelle Williams looks amazing but I just don’t think I could pull it off.
