Mint-Chip Martini

Hey everyone! We’re back at it with another great recipe. This week’s focus: dessert cocktail!! (Because who doesn’t love dessert AND booze?!) Lately Missy has been obsessed with Halo Top ice cream to the point where it’s literally taking up an entire shelf in our freezer. All the pints staring me in the face every time I needed some ice eventually got me thinking…why not use one as a base for a sweet and creamy drink? (I know right? leave it to Nate to add booze into the equation) So without further adieu, let me show you how to make your new favorite dinner party dessert: The Mint-Chip Martini!

~ Ingredients ~

2 Oz. Vanilla Vodka

4.5 Oz. Mint-Chip Ice Cream

1 Oz. Milk

Ice (just a couple cubes)

Chocolate Syrup

Dark Chocolate

Fresh Mint

Let’s get started! This one is going to be real simple. You can start by rimming your martini glass with chocolate syrup. To do this all you have to do is put some of the syrup on a small plate and dip the rim of your glass into it. If you just want a clean line make it very shallow, but if you want little drips like I did put a little more on the plate and push the rim through it so it can gather as much syrup as possible.

To make the actual drink just throw the vodka, ice cream, milk, and ice into a small blender and run it until its nice and smooth. Pour the drink into your chocolate rimmed glass and garnish with shaved dark chocolate and a fresh mint leaf. That’s it!

Look at that! Absolute perfection for any dessert lover. This drink is tasty as all get out and has the show-stopper looks that your dinner guests will talk about for weeks to come. So what are you waiting for?! Make some Mint-Chip Martinis today! Cheers!
