This reminds me back to the good old days when we used to always take photos in our front yard! Well, so much has changed since then and now we’re taking them here only because it was raining and I thought, why not? This was the outfit I wore on my day off this week! You wouldn’t believe how much I paid for this top.
As you probably already know, I’m a HUGE fan of Amazon Prime (I mean these days, who isn’t?) and I frequent the fashion section as often as I can because the prices there are unbelievable. I know some people think that $100 for a membership per year is excessive, but we have gotten that back again and again with the amount of purchases we make through Amazon each year.
This particular top, the one shoulder chambray, is a style that I had been on the hunt for for quite some time. I finally found it through Amazon a month ago for less than $14. I mean, I had found versions of it countless times at the mall and online for probably 5x this price, but I’m not one to settle until I’ve found a bargain when I know it’s out there. I find myself wearing this tucked into high waisted pants and skirts as well as just left out with fun, printed shorts and pants. It’s really versatile! I even plan to wear it with a cardigan when I go back to work in a few weeks. The possibilities are endless!
I wanted to keep the look light and fun (it was 88 degrees today in FL) so I added some interest with this pom pom necklace and these polka dotted shorts from J Crew. I got these on sale from JCrew Factory online. They have a sale going right now where these are something like $12–it’s truly ridiculous. I have them in 4 prints now and in no way is that depressing! I love how they’re pull-on style and really comfortable.
Here’s to the freakin’ weekend! Let’s have some fun! What are your plans?
