So today was one of those super-relaxing days that Nate and I got to spend together. We got to have our favorite sushi, Izziban Sushi in Orlando by where he works which was awesome. And of course the perfect day would have to include shopping in some capacity. We went to Old Navy, were I scored some amazing sequin cardigans for the holidays (not that I’ll need them down here at 84 degrees!). I went to Plato’s Closet to sell some of my clothing and was pleasantly surprised to find that I got one of the best deals of my life!

I was able to score this Gap navy blue moto jacket, never been worn with tags for a mere $18! Obviously, I had to snag it. I also got a green and blue sequin top to wear to work and this awesome sequin embellished mini skirt from Express that I’ve been drooling over since summer!

To compromise for all the time I spent in stores, Nate got to go to Guitar Center to look at drums. He ended up getting this amazing djembe  and met people who he could do a drum circle with. I’m loving the jam session that I’m privileged to listen to right now in my own living room! Nate and Rick are taking turns playing along to some pretty great reggae right now and I’m loving it! What a great Sunday. I hope you all had just as good of a weekend 🙂

I decided to go with some “fall-esque” essentials even though the weather didn’t exactly call for them today. I’ve been finding more and more excuses lately to sport my new faux-leather DKNY pants. They’re surprisingly comfortable–I’ve been wearing them with everything from graphic tees to button down shirts. This buffalo check shirt is new from Poshmark and I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to dress it up with pencil skirts and sequins!
