You ever feel like the days are going by faster than you can count the hours? ┬áLately, I feel as if time is flying by and I haven’t quite gotten a grip on my rhythm for filling the days properly. Since I started my new job, I have no doubt gained a great new perspective and wonderful colleagues, but I feel like I’m working sun up and sun down every day of the week and I very much look forward to getting some time to sleep.

Despite the time passing by so quickly, I’m extremely excited for fall fashion and especially all of the fun runway shows going on for NYC fashion week right now.

This new leather jacket from BB Dakota was a thrilling new addition to my fall repertoire because of the jewel tone. Some of my favorite colors this season include emerald, burgundy, and mustard–all deep, rich colors that work well with neutrals in any wardrobe.

To allow the burgundy color to pop, I paired this jacket with a subdued navy striped turtleneck, skinnies, and my new snakeskin ankle booots from Off Broadway. With so many new boots on my wishlist this fall, it was tough to narrow them down to what I thought would be fitting for this casual weekend outfit.

I went with these because the low heel makes them perfect for a lot of traveling and the snakeskin texture is refreshingly original. Shop here for boots under $60 now čÖé
