I’m not ashamed to admit that I have literally been living in these $8 jeans for days straight. It’s almost to the point of ridiculous. Almost. Either way, I find it comical that out of all the jeans I own–these are the ones I usually go straight for in my closet. The reason is more than likely the fact that they lay really nicely (no pocket bulge), are a dark wash, and have a lot of give to them (necessary for my J-Lo-esque booty).

Something I’ve noticed that I’ve done lately that is unmistakably uncharacteristic of me is that I’ve been reaching for neutrals lately. Very weird. This neutral Target cardigan seems to go with every crazy print in my wardrobe without a hitch. I think it’s a keeper–and at under $20–it’s a steal.

This leopard pocket tee from Victoria’s Secret holds a special place in my heart as well. Since I snagged it on eBay a couple of months ago, it’s been my weekend go-to. I love how long it is and the fact that a medium feels like an over-sized tee. Super comfy and can be layered with everything from a denim jacket to a military vest.

One major purchase I recently made (that I’ve been eyeing for months now) has been my Tory Burch FitBit bracelet! Since I posted this little baby on my Instagram, I’ve been getting several requests for a review–so here it is!

Quality: The quality is what you’d expect from a Tory Burch product. Very beautiful and gold-plated. A lot heavier than I expected and rolls around a lot.The metal is high-quality and shiny in a way that looks and feels expensive; like I said, high quality as you’ve come to expect from Tory Burch.

Fit: This is where I’m running into problems. I have pretty small wrists–not abnormally small–but quite small. I have a small FitBit bracelet of the regular, standard-issue rubber bracelet that came with the actual FitBit. This original one fits me perfectly, but I keep it hooked in on the 4th notch in. The Tory Burch FitBit is very big on me and rolls around while sliding down my hand. It doesn’t come off but definitely doesn’t stay secure. It’s a bit top-heavy and the word “clunky” comes to mind.

Wear-ability: Unfortunately, when I ordered this I expected to wear it ’round the clock but now that I tried it on, I realize that this is more of a “special occasion” type of bracelet. It’s way too heavy and large to comfortably wear to after-work activities, the gym, and of course to bed. (not that I was expecting to wear it to bed) I almost feel as if I would need to have a watch fit tightly around my wrist to prevent this FitBit bracelet from slipping too far down my wrist.

Structure/design: The geometric design is really cute and the gold goes with everything. A complaint I have is that the little part where you are supposed to see the light-up dots doesn’t really align with the openings in the bracelet. The FitBit slides around inside the cage with a hinge door and makes quite a bit of noise. Getting the bracelet open to take on and off is very much a challenge as well. Nate and I tried relentlessly to get the bracelet open when I first received it and it took us pressing on it with a tool very hard to open the pop-up hinge.

Overall rating: I’d give this a 5/10 because it’s gorgeous and high-quality (perfect for wearing with a watch and other bracelets to work), yet the fit and structure seem to fall short of what I expected. Bottom line, if you have small wrists–it’s probably not worth how many times you’re {not} going to wear it.

I love the leopard print on the pocket and how you matched it with the shoes. It is a super cute detail. 🙂
