Citrus Colorblock Dress + Win $1,000 from ShopSense!

colorblock dress

Today Nate and I did some errands and we’re about to head to Manny’s Chophouse to celebrate our 3 year anniversary! We were originally going to go to Joe’s Crab Shack, but the people at the Ford dealer (we were test driving cars today) told us that this was a much better deal and so delicious. I’m pretty psyched for some steak and seafood!

I recently purchased this dress at Macy’s in Orlando for $4! I love light summer dresses down here because it’s so hot (it was 97 today) and that’s all I feel like wearing, usually with a bralette. In order to add some interest to create an entire outfit, I usually pop on a colored waist belt like this one and a statement necklace. Since the dress was so inexpensive, I feel I should compensate with some fun accessories!

I wanted to sport my new tungsten ring today too. This baby is so fun and multi-faceted, I love wearing it with just about everything! It’s rare that I grab a ring more than $5 but I thought this was worth it. The brilliance of the facets caught my eye immediately and I haven’t had to shine it up yet, which is nice.

I hope you are having an awesome weekend, and just one more exciting opportunity I wanted to share with all of you! I recently entered this contest and thought I’d let you know about it too 🙂  ShopSense (a website to look up and purchase name-brand jewelry, makeup, beauty products, clothes, and shoes) is running a contest where you can review items that you’ve purchased/tried and let the public know how to you feel about them (whether you loved them or hated them) and you automatically are entered to win $1,000.
