Happy [almost] Hump Day! Doesn’t it feel good that it’s midweek already? I know I love it! Today was definitely a busy day–had a training day at work which was actually fun and then had personal training, went to spinning class, went shopping with my mom and aunt, and went to dinner at Panera! Definitely a top notch day.
But that isn’t to say that I’m not exhausted! I went a little nuts at the Vicky’s semi-annual sale–ladies I know you feel me there. I picked up a mint half-zip sweatshirt, tribal print tank, comfy lightweight sweater, new body lotion and some under-goodies. I just can’t help myself. Later, I went to Gap and picked up a pair of coral flats for ten bucks, a pair of yellow shorts, and a coral and blue top. I got some more workout gear at Old Navy (and let’s get real–another pair of flats). Finally got a new pair of running shoes to help my ankle pain. I’m so excited to go running tomorrow and wear them!
As for the good ‘ole outfit of the day– I picked up this little baby at Marshalls this past weekend for about $20 and it’s unbelievably comfortable and oh-so-bright! I never thought I’d be a fan of grey and coral mixed together but something about this coral hi lo dress seemed so dead-on. I decided to wear it Saturday when Nate and I went to see his parents’ band play in the park. It was a gorgeous day and I wanted to keep things comfortable and simple because we were going to be walking around a lot.
I wanted to keep it simple by contrasting the dress with another bold color like teal. I went with this Steve Madden structured handbag I found at TJ Maxx, this floral necklace, and these Guess sandals. I love that even though they have quite the heel, the wedge makes them very comfy.
