This is one of my favorite color combinations on the planet! Blame it on the Alma mater, wearing the old maroon and gold bring back nostalgic thoughts of football games, bonfires, and fun times with friends. Ironically enough, I now sport this color combo in variation as I teach high school! Mixing leopard and stripes has always kinda been one of my “things” since about 2011. I can’t get enough!
When I originally bought this bag on sale last fall, I was worried that it would be confined to the season, but I’m finding new ways to incorporate it into my wardrobe for work and on the weekends in the winter. I can’t wait to style it with pastels like pink and sky blue for spring!
Maybe I should be embarrassed to admit this, but these mustard pants were a purchase about 5 years ago and they’re still goin’ strong! I love switching it up and wearing a bright pair of pants like these instead of my typical navy trousers.
I still wanted to keep it interesting and provide more depth to the look with a couple of mixed prints! Leopard and striped go together like peas and carrots–it’s a pair that I regularly wear in tandem. These loafers have got to be the most comfortable pair of work flats that I own so naturally I sport them probably more than I should to work!
This striped top was a recent purchase (last week) that I made while shopping at the mall with my mom. It was a mere $14.99 so I got this one, a leopard one, and a dalmation spotted one. They’re so sheer and comfortable; perfect for layering!
I wanted to keep the jewelry simple, so I went with a classic Kendra Scott Rayne necklace in white pearl to keep it clean and simple.

Happy Friday Eve! It’s such a relief when you realize that you only have one more “wake up” before freedom. 🙂 Hope your week is going well!
