Sometimes a girl just needs to dress up. When my best friend and I went shopping (see: major sales!) last weekend right before her Bachelorette Party (what, we had to prepare! 😉 I seemed to be obsessed with everything the sales girl was putting on the mannequin! We walked in to Clothes Mentor  (p.s. if you’ve never been you should definitely check it out!) and I fell in love with this casual little cotton white/periwinkle striped sundress with coral trim. I immediately had it taken off the mannequin and tried it on over my clothes. What can I say, I’d about had it with trying on clothes for one day!

When I went to check out, the woman was putting a different dress on the same mannequin and I immediately fell in love with that one too! I asked her what size it was and bought it right then and there! I’m obsessed with this dress! I love that there’s a mild print mix with the chevron and stripes but the A-line cut makes it classy and appropriate for anything.

I decided to get wild with the accessories and add this cute little bow waist belt and punchy turquoise and pink statement necklace. To finish it off, I went with these cutesy heart sunnies from Wow Vintage! Normally, I’m not a super feminine girly girl, but that day the starts must have aligned and I was falling in love with anything classic and girly. Doesn’t hurt that these blue suede pumps are so darned comfortable either! I swear I could run a marathon in these babies!

Hope you all had a fabulous Fourth of July and are enjoying your weekend!
