Fitness Wear for Women
Finding fitness wear for women was easier to come by than I thought! This year, like so many others out there, I’ve vowed to eat healthier and get back into a workout routine.I can honestly say I’ve been doing pretty well so far! I downloaded this fantastic app “Lose It” on my iPhone and have been working out regularly- be it the elliptical, runs, or walking my adorable pooch Henna.
Naturally, this was an excuse to update my wardrobe as well. What can I say? A huge motivation for me is being able to dress cute, so why can’t that translate to my workout gear?
When I went to Old Navy this past week, I saw a huge section of fitness wear for women that I really hadn’t paid much attention to before (blame it on the Christmas cookies) and went nuts trying on tons of really cute active wear.
I no doubt racked up a huge bill until my boyfriend let me know that my coveted items were all on sale for 40% off! (P.S. that sale is still going until January 16th!)
I tried these adorable compression pants as I thought I’d try something new from my usual yoga pants routine. I LOVE THEM! The control top and compression technology makes me feel tights while I work out and I’m not getting soaked from sweat; win-win!
To top it off, I had to get the craziest sports bra (hello, $8!) to match the pants and a track jacket to bring out the pinks.
So, my goal this year is to trim some of that holiday weight gain and get back into shape! New fitness wear was just the motivation I needed to get me on the right track and hey- I lost two pounds already this week, so it must be working!
