Tribal Crop Top

New necklace, yay! Finally decided to go outside my comfort zone and try a new piece of jewelry. I’ve been eyeing this Free People necklace for awhile now but the price tag at $98 kind of dissuaded me. So, I’ve been looking for a dupe everywhere–I’ve tried Etsy, Urban Outfitters, Charlotte Russe, and every other boho jewelry store I can think of but to no avail (well, for my desired price point, anyway).

Enter a random trip to TJ Maxx in Orlando yesterday when I was on my way to the craft store (clearly, I have no self-control). I happened to be perusing the jewelry counter when I finally found it–the holy grail of silver boho jewelry pieces. And for a price of only $25! Get it! I also picked up this crop top, and a pair of high-waisted palazzo pants with a paisley print.

On the way home, I stopped at Old Navy and picked up an adorable “C’est La Vie” tee an mixed print royal blue scarf for $8! I made my final stop at the craft store for supplies for my new hobby- necklace making. I’ve decided to start making tassel necklaces because I couldn’t find them on my own–again for a decent price. Check out my Instagram (@popofstyle) if you’re interested to see what I’m making and maybe want one. Let me know! 🙂

So, soccer–eh? Nate and I had a great time today watching the final game of the World Cup at Celebration Town Tavern. What a great game that was! It got really intense. Anybody else watch? What did you think?

Hope you had a great weekend!

You can't succeed at something by accepting the possibility of failure... this not only applies to careers and tasks, but marriages, relationships, and life in general. It is not just a way of thinking but a way of living. (I am still trying to implement this on a daily basis, but there days I fail for sure.)
