My outfit: Skirt from Abercrombie & Fitch | Denim jacket, shirt, hat, and belt via American Eagle | Bracelets via Hollister
This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of working with some pretty awesome ladies at the Teen Vogue Back to School Saturdays Fashion Show at the Florida Mall! Together with blogger babes Danna and Kiara Michelle, we modeled three different looks in trend with fall’s fashion trends.
I modeled two bohemian looks; the first with a button down suede skirt (my favorite throwback trend for fall) coupled with a denim jacket/military shirt combo. To finish the look, making it school-worthy, ankle booties and a wide brimmed felt hat was added. I loved the added touch of the belt over the skirt.
My second look included a wrap around poncho, cinched with a waist belt. With printed flare leg jeans and tennies, the look was topped off with another trendy hat (this time in gorgeous burgundy).
Danna wore a “school girl” look, reminiscent of old school Britney Spears with mixed prints. I loved the romper/striped tee combo! Kiara wore a “cool girl” look that included edgier pieces like overalls and a leather jacket. All were perfect for fall’s upcoming trends and worked great for back to school outfits to inspire those who attended the show.
One of the best parts of being involved was getting to hang out with the panel: Bailey, a stylist at Teen Vogue, The magazine’s beauty & health editor Elaine Welteroth, famous beauty vlogger Sierra Furtado, and stylist Melanie Pace from right here in Orlando!
All in all, this was an incredible experience that makes me appreciate moving to a bigger city even more. Although I’ve been apprehensive to find new things to do in Orlando while being new, I’m so happy that I’m stuck with my goal to meet more people and network. It definitely has paid off–I’ve had unbelievable experiences this summer and met some amazing friends.
Tomorrow’s Friday–woohoo! Nate and I are celebrating our 5 year *dating* (wait, now that we’re engaged, do we still celebrate that?) anniversary weekend in Boca Raton! Any of you been there? What’s fun to do there? Enjoy your weekends!
