Vintage Striped Skirt

  • Vintage skirt
  • Shoes from Sperry Topsider
  • Bangle from from Buckle
  • Vintage thrifted silk top
  • Necklace from Body Central
  • Belt from American Eagle
Still in a vintage mood, I wanted to play with this skirt I found of my mother’s and add a breezy silk top. This look is super comfortable and works well for office and practically anywhere else you want to go. I decided to go with blue, red, brown, and gold add ons to complement the brilliant blue here. To add some quirky nautical style, I thought Sperrys might be comfortable and practical as well. Happy Friday!
Pop of health/fitness: The benefits of olive oil:
Cook with olive oil, add it to salads, and dip bread in it.  Those who do are 41 per cent less likely to suffer a stroke than those who never eat it.  Researchers using almost 8,000 people have concluded that all older people will live longer if they eat plenty of it.
The Mediterranean Diet, one of the healthiest out there, relies heavily on olive oil and is regarded as the classic eating habit in countries such as France, Greece, Spain and Italy.
Cecilia Samieri, of the National Institute of Health and Medical Research in Bordeaux, where the survey was done, said: “Stroke is so common in older people and olive oil would be an inexpensive and easy way to help prevent it.
Besides the health benefits that olive oil provides, it tastes good too.
