Summer Trends & Mother’s Day Shopping Event at Vera Bradley

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of hosting the Vera Bradley Summer Trends & Mother’s Day Shopping Event at the Mall at Millenia! It was so much fun and I go to meet so many awesome people. Read more for more photos and fun!

For my outfit, I wanted to center around my watermelon bag, so I complemented the red with a striped button up casual shirt with a bandana as an extra pop of color. Since it’s summertime (just about), I wanted to sport the look with a pair of white jeans. That outdated “rule” has no application anymore!

In addition to the watermelon bag, Vera Bradley also has this amazing lemon version! I’m obsessed with the pastel yellow and lining on the inside! So fun for summer.

If you follow my Instagram (right here), you may have seen me style this adorable clutch and turquoise adjustable necklace. We gave these away last Saturday to one lucky shopper and also had some cupcakes (who doesn’t love cupcakes?!) and of course, La Croix (my love). I was super psyched that my favorite flavor–passionfruit–was being served!

To add even more fun summer prints, I sported these colorful beaded sandals from Amazon (buy them here).

The manager, Alyssa, is so helpful and awesome–I love working with her! In fact, she is the one who suggested that Nate and I go to our new favorite restaurant in St. Augustine–The Floridian!

How cute is this little lemon change purse?!
