His & Hers Fig Vodka Drink Recipes

Hey Everyone! We’re back with two new drink recipes, and this time we’re tackling flavored vodka. If you ask anyone (especially my wife) you’ll know that I don’t care much at all for vodka, and flavored ones are even lower on my list. However, Missy got this very unique fig flavored vodka and I couldn’t help but get inspired! Of course when I get inspired I usually go off the deep end and really go for it…Missy is not always a fan of this. With that being said, I decided to use this spirit two different ways to satisfy both of our palettes. Let’s make some drinks!

~His Drink~

1 oz Bourbon

1/2 oz Figenza Vodka

1 Egg White

Juice of 1/2 Lemon

5 Cracked Peppercorns

1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/2 tbsp Simple Syrup

Crispy Bacon

Combine all the ingredients except for the bacon into a cocktail shaker and dry shake (this means without ice) for at lease a minute. Fair warning, frothing up the egg white can cause gas build up and the top can pop off…make sure you hold on tight! After the dry shake, add ice and shake again until cold. Serve in a coupe glass (I’m obsessed with these glasses by the way) and garnish with a piece of crispy bacon…mmmm bacon!

~Her Drink~

1.5 oz Figenza

3 oz Coconut La Croix

Pink Cherries

Missy prefers drinks that are light and refreshing with a touch of sweetness. Using La Croix is a great way to have a flavorful drink that won’t weigh you down. Fill your glass with ice and streak the honey through out. Add the Figenza and then top off with coconut La Croix and garnish with a pink cherry.

Cheers, everyone!
