So it’s the last day of 2011. What a year it was. It seems like it went by so fast! I can’t believe tomorrow will be a new year. I’m excited for it though- it will be the year I finish my Master’s degree and will expand upon this blog to include DIY projects, more inventory in Shoppe Pop, men’s style, how-to video tutorials, and fashion show coverage. I’m really excited for 2012, I think it will be a good year.
As for resolutions, definitely have a lot of those as well. Number one being to continue to eat right and get myself into a more defined workout routine. Of course my resolutions expand into the blogosphere as well. I’d love to become more involved within the fashion blogging community while expanding upon what Pop of Style has to offer. So many more, but I’ll have to write them all down soon. What do you guys have planned for your resolutions?
Anyway, I hope everyone has a blast tonight no matter what you’re doing, and stay safe! Have a wonderful New Year! čÖé

Best Outfits 2011

There you have it! The top 10 most popular outfits from Pop! of Style this year. I compiled this list based on Chictopia & Pinterest popularity as well as pageviews on  I wanted to take this time to thank you all so much for your continued support and encouraging words.
I started Pop! of Style this past April┬á to expand upon my personal style and share my love of fashion and I never imagined that it would become so much a part of me. ´╗┐It means the world to me that my family, friends, and the blogging community has been so incredibly supportive. I look forward to continuing to expand Pop! of Style next year with┬átutorials, DIY projects, style guides, and much, much more!┬á
I wish you all a very Happy New Year and thank you for all of your support in making this dream of mine a reality.

Leopard Pants & Floppy Wide Brimmed Hat

I’m loving my new pants and floppy hat! Two gifts that were on my Christmas wish list! So excited!
Since I love leopard everything, naturally these pants called to me! My family got a great deal on the pants and shoes (1/2 off both before Christmas!) but both are still available now! I can’t wait to pair these pants with brights. Neutrals seemed appropriate to highlight the print for the first outfit with these babies, but it wouldn’t be me if there wasn’t bright color involved so I can’t wait for that.
