Marshalls, you’ve done it again! You all know that my obsession with this store will never end. I raided the inventory once again last week, and found so many fabulous pieces, I just couldn’t help myself. For some reason, I’ve been really into black and white lately. Naturally, I gravitated toward this amazing lightweight chevron button down and classic patent leather Mary Janes!
Add in a pop of color with this red designer bag, and I knew I had a winner. Polka dots were also a big find of mine when I went to the store. This metallic sheer polka dot top (below) stood out to me as a piece I could sport now underneath a metallic sweater and later in the warmer weather with a pair of leather shorts! These periwinkle blue pants were so soft and wearable; plus the unique color stood out to me as perfect for spring!

This week, teamed up with Marshalls once again to share with you Maria Menounos’ fabulous finds for trending items this spring as well as a few of my own #FabFound personal picks! There are so many trending items right now for amazing prices that make any outfit spring-ready and bright. Gotta love a good deal! 🙂 Here are Maria’s gorgeous finds!
I found that I split my finds between casual & colorful and edgy & posh. I found a great pair of designer wedge sandals that bridge the gap between classy and casual, a lightweight denim tee that I can layer now and don with edgy shorts later, and some simple yet sophisticated black and white tops.
Now, Marshalls and Iwant to thank YOU, my readers, for being so awesome! We’re giving away 5 (Yes, 5!) $25 gift cards to 5 different readers! Just share your favorite #FabFound item with me on Pinterest, Facebook, or Twitter and tell me how Marshalls has helped you find something fabulous!
(Don’t forget to tag me @PopOfStyle on Twitter @MissyDamon on Pinterest and @Marshalls #FabFound, of course!)

So this outfit was along the mentality of “Field of Dreams” in that I thought if I wore it,” it would come”. Spring, that is! Disregard the fact that I basically had to snowshoe to take this photo. I guess I will be that much more appreciative when warm weather actually starts to break! (So jealous of you southerners!)
Anyway, Old Navy has some incredibly cute dresses for sale (yes, sale!). This particular beaut is only a mere $29 right now! When I made my weekly (yeah, I’m addicted-no judgement) stop into Old Navy, I immediately bee-lined toward this drop-dead adorable eyelet dress! I’ve always gone weak in the knees for a simple, yet classic white dress for spring and summertime; there’s just so much you can do to style it! Adding color is among my favorites.
For this look, I wanted to don my new eyelet dress with a little color and sparkle to shake things up a bit. Layering is such a wonderful trick for getting the most mileage out of a spring/summer piece. Even adding this sequin collared shirt underneath Old Navy’s dress made it effortlessly low maintenance, yet still casual and chic.
My favorite part of this dress is its softness and how tailored it is at the waistline. Because my body is a pear shape, I often find it difficult to find a dress that is flattering, yet tailored in the right places. This waistline cinches perfectly, yet is forgiving in the hip area. Remaining modest, I know it’s the perfect Easter dress! I can’t wait to try it with pastel blazers, a jean jacket, lightweight scarves, layering even more with striped shirts underneath, or a leather jacket to play with an edgy look!
Tell me, what’s your favorite Old Navy dress for spring? I’m definitely going back for the beautiful orange eyelet style next! I’m such a sucker for brights!

Hot mess express today! So, I’m walking out to leave the house this morning and I notice that I’m missing a button right at the top of my button up. I bend over and thank God I have a cami underneath because out pop the girls. Ridiculous! And not only that, but as I walk in to do my observations at school, I notice that I am missing yet another button at the bottom. Does this stop me? Unfortunately not. I was running late and let’s be honest–too tired and lazy to change the whole outfit. Annnnnddd…I kind of just wanted to wear these new Mary Janes!
I found these puppies at Marshalls this weekend and I knew I had found my holy grail. All I kept thinking was “I thought these were an urban shoe myth!” All you Sex and The City lovers are pickin’ up what I’m layin’ down. Gotta love a classic patent leather pump with a modest but sexy heel and a cute little strap that says “take me home to meet your parents!”
How do you guys feel about Mary Janes? Are you a fan?
So, I got to see my old students today. Went to observe my cooperating teacher for my Master’s class research thesis and I was pleasantly surprised by one of my students jumping out of a barrel and several hugs and brownies (I’m a sucker for treats). It was amazing getting to see my students from last year- I didn’t want to leave!
Anyways, enough about my whirlwind day. I have good news! Marshalls and I are teaming up to give you guys an opportunity to win a gift card to spend on your favorite items at your local Marshalls store. Five of my readers will have a chance to win a $25 gift card within the next week! I can’t wait to show you all of the fabulous things I picked up! Spring has SPRUNG! (Well, not weather-wise!)
