Recipe: Twisted Cherry Mimosas
Mimosas and cigars by the pool…is there a better way to spend your Sunday? We love hanging out together by our pool on the weekends and this little concoction we conjured up was the highlight of our afternoon!
~ Ingredients ~
(This is for 2 drinks)
Brut Champagne
1 oz Whiskey
1/2 oz Black Cherry Juice
1/2 tsp Ginger Syrup
Black Cherries
Okay, let’s get this thing started! Get your trusty shaker out for this one; add some ice to it and throw in the whiskey, cherry juice, and ginger syrup. Get to shakin’ until it’s ice cold (about 20 seconds). Fill two champagne flutes about half way and then split the shaker contents between the two. Garnish with a black cherry and you’re all set!
Boom! Doesn’t that look great? It tastes great too! The black cherry and ginger play well together in this delicious concoction. Plus that whiskey really kicks your Sunday into overdrive if you know what I mean. Bust this recipe out at your next lazy Sunday breakfast…this is how we were meant to brunch!
