Colorful Office Wear & Polka Dots

Another one of my attempts to make the “office” a.k.a. classroom a little more cheery on this dreary day! I’m trying to incorporate different bright colors into my wardrobe that I usually don’t wear. In this case, I wanted to go with an unexpected pop of color like yellow to complement the green tone.

I recently received this AMAZING, “cheating on all my other statement necklace”s island-inspired green stone necklace from Arthur & Livingston. I instantly fell in love with this statement-maker due to its breathtakingly different hue. Rarely have I ever seen a necklace that is this brilliant of a green color. Genius!

My friends at Arthur and Livingston would like to share with you guys (my awesome readers!) an exclusive discount on any piece of jewelry by just entering in this code: POPOFSTYLE20 at checkout for an instant 20% savings off of any amount in your purchase.

Today was a bit of a rough one. I need a little vino therapy if you know what I mean! Being sick at work is not a fun endeavor. I hope I start feeling better soon. UGH!

What are you guys up to? Is fall starting to hit in the northern states yet? I feel so out of it lately…I don’t even know what the weather’s like anywhere else, it’s like we live in our own little cocoon down here! Not that I’m complaining, anything over 90 degrees in late September is just peachy in my book 🙂

IT’S HUMP DAY! Almost time for the much-needed weekend loves, so stay strong!

I incorporate bright colors all the time, especially in Seattle, because it’s rainy and gray from fall til’ next year. Girls here NEED to wear brights – it’s like vitamin D.

Really like the bright yellow cardigan, makes the whole outfit pop. The camel picture is hilarious 🙂

Hi! I can totally relate weather-wise…My fiance and I recently moved to the desert of Southern California and it is still in the 90’s here as well. Now I do love me some warm weather and not being freezing, but being born and raised on in the mid-Atlantic east coast, I miss a cooler, crisp fall with snuggly sweaters and changing leave-colors. Something I do find challenging is wanting to incorporate fall wardrobe pieces while still dressing appropriately for the warm/hot weather (oh and having to layer once I’m inside because of the freezing air conditioning)…maybe you could do a post on that?!
